Drivetrain

The cartridge in your drive motors, not your lift motors.

Left wheel center to right wheel center.

Front wheel center to rear wheel center.

Size & mass

Weigh it rather than guessing. Include the battery.

Balance

With the lift down. The Center of Gravity Locator works this out.

Surface

Coefficient of friction. Around 1.1 for traction wheels, 0.7 for omnis. No VEX figure exists, so this is an estimate worth measuring.

How it is used

A tool that needs your wheel size reads it from here. When a tool fills fields this way it says so at the top of the page, so you always know where a number came from.

Changing a value on a tool page does not change the profile. That is deliberate: you can try a different gear ratio on the speed calculator without losing the setup you actually built. Come back here when you want the change to stick.

What it does not cover

Only the numbers that describe the robot itself and are shared across several tools. Anything specific to one mechanism stays on that mechanism's page: a lift's cartridge is not your drive cartridge, and filling one from the other would be worse than asking twice.

Where it lives

In this browser's local storage, on this machine. It is not uploaded, there is no account, and it is not shared between your devices. Clearing your browser data clears it, and so does the button above.

If you use private browsing, or your browser blocks storage, saving will fail and the page will tell you rather than pretending it worked.
