How the notebook is doing
What your saved pages carry, counted. It names what isn't there yet, and it never writes any of it: a blank here is a page for somebody to write, not one for the tool to fill in.
Against a rubric
The rubrics score a notebook, not a page: entries across a season, several solutions compared, testing that leads to decisions, one page leading to the next. This counts what your saved pages carry and names what isn't there yet. It doesn't judge how good any of it is, and it never writes any of it.
Which pages show which criterion
Your pages down the side, the criteria across the top, and the blanks left blank. It reports what your pages carry; it never writes the missing page.
Pages that are nearly the same
One number across the season
The same result, read off every page you saved from one tool, in date order. Every point is a page of yours; nothing is filled in between them.
Design journey
Each system's pages laid out as the design cycle, a row for each time round, with arrows along the links between pages. An empty box says there's no page there yet: not every round needs every stage. Press a page to find it in the list.
How much we write
Your team’s own target for each part of a page, in words. While a student writes, the editor counts the words and says how far off the target they are. It never writes anything to reach one, and a part left blank here is left alone.
How much each page says
Counted, and nothing else. A long page can be the best one in the book and a short one can be the clearest: this only shows the shape of what you have written so you can decide.
